Information for Parent/Guardian Re: School Portrait Sitting

Your child’s school portraits this year will be taken by Adams Photography Inc.
We are ready to provide a safe environment for both the students, faculty and workers of Adams Photography during
this Pandemic. Adams Photography Staff will be wearing masks at all times. As part of the NS Government mandate
students in grade 3/4 and above will be required to wear a mask to the photo session which can be taken off once they
are standing in place for their portrait. Sanitizer will be readily available and used during photoshoots. Students are reminded to
use physical distancing while waiting. This year we will not be doing group class pictures and will replace these with class
composites. We expect this to be a very smooth process and realize these are special moments in your child’s life and
we look forward to preserving these for you.

Our company offers high quality portraits at an affordable price. We do our utmost to produce professional portraits of every client.
We are sending this flyer to help ensure everything you may need to know before your child’s portrait sitting can be answered.

1. Portrait Sitting
The portrait sitting day for school is scheduled for Oct 20 your proofs and order form will be delivered
back to your child’s school approximately two weeks after the portrait sitting date. Delivery date of the
portraits will be within four weeks of the school order being placed.

2. This year we will being doing outdoor school photos because of Covid19. We suggest neutral colours
and long sleeves for the best portraits. There will be no choice of background this year as will be using
the natural green forest on the school property.

3. Order/Late Orders

Your child’s proof this year will be emailed to you along with ordering instructions from their classroom teacher.

Please be advised that all orders this year will have to be ordered online at www.adamsphotography.ca using the ticket

code that is on your proof. All orders will be delivered to the school. Your order date is very
important. Late orders cannot be returned with the original order and will could be delayed by
another 4-6 weeks.

4. Reshoot – (for absentees, bad expressions, and closed eyes only)
The date for re-shoots will be coordinated through the school administration office and
announcements sent home with the students. Please note if your first portrait session is
acceptable please do not take the chance of a reshoot, because it will not be possible
to receive an order from the first session once you have the reshoot taken.
One composite class picture will be given to each student free of charge.
